Oh Rachel
Friday night I was at Rachel's house after volunteer to work on our English project with our other friend Cindy. And OMGWTFBBQ I had so much fun. Running outside into Rachel's backyard at 8 pm in the freezing cold, worrying about snakes and presents that her dog Rocky might have left, watching part of The 40 Year Old Virgin with her mom walking in and out of the garage, being rather disgusted and annoyed with the movie in general, and writing AIM away message convos to post, but instead, falling over in giggles as we write about a certain hated entity who shall not be named at this moment. Oh. And fighting over the laptop when Rachel's "Ex-Fiance" IMs her at like 10:45 pm.
We just do have the best of times together. But as of late, that time spent together has become fewer and farther spread out. Sadly. Because we have such crazy fun together, laughing about the most innane and stupid things.
I just miss spending time with my best friend. Stupid school.
And Rachel, I would like to have a copy of that convo. Because that is the stuff memories are made out of.

A 5?!?!?!
Just had to post today to mention that OMGWTFBBQ AMANDA GOT A 5 ON ONE OF HER FRQ ESSAYS IN AP US HISTORY! WOOOOOO!
And that the Season 3 premier of Grey's Anatomy is TONIGHT, at 9 pm on ABC 7.
And be on the look out for PotterCast stuff in a few days, once I get the chance to put the code in!

First Few Days
These first few days of school have been interesting. Things that I'd previously thought were easily thrown aside. First of all, Levi isn't a complete ass. I do like his class. So far. Watch, I'll be eating my words in a few months. *sigh*
H Math Analysis isn't half bad. I just miss the math crew from last year. Minus Bobby. Because that boy....ARG. He makes me want to bash his head into a wall. No joke.
AP Lang Comp is so so. McAdams isn't that bad, but I just hate the work we are doing. I really don't like reading essays, plzkthx. I don't know how I'm going to feel about the non-fiction this year. I did like most of the books we read last year. I do read non-fiction outside of school, but I have the chance to read the back and pick myself. These books are being forced upon me. So I don't know. I hope I'll have the patience to finish the books.
Spanish is awesome. Diaz is so cool. But I can see that he is sad. His wife has MS, and he has a 7 year old daughter with her. It's just so sad. MS is so scary. JKR's mum had it and died over 10 years ago from it. The veteran I interviewed for my Freshman Veteran project had MS, and it was so sad. He couldn't sit up by himself. He had to be in a wheelchair or in a gurney. He couldn't control when he went pee, so he had a peeing bag attached to him. It was just so sad. He was a really nice guy. But I can just see it in Diaz's behavior. He's so worried. And I don't blame him.
AP Bio is OMGWTFBORING. Well, we haven't done anything yet...so I guess that's a reason, but we've been doing these brain things and this learning foundation crap. Thank you, but I think that by Junior year in high school I know about my learning behaviors and stuff. It was funny, but really. That was a waste of 2 days.
Theatre is awesome. We haven't done much yet besides talking and planning what we are going to do in the year, but it seems pretty awesome so far. I'll be working on graphics and publicity for the festivals, so that will be good. Ms. Kolb really likes me, so that's a very nice plus. But some of the kids in that class scare me. They are like those hxc-wanna-be-Goth-LOOK I DYE MY HAIR-pierced-wanna-be-artsy kids that came out of 6th period theatre last year. GAH it's scary. But there are some people from my class last year and Seniors I know, so it's all good. I hope.
Work load is ok so far. Key Club is making me want to cry. I have to build a new website. And no, I can't make a blog or w/e. A fully fleged website in two weeks. Lovely. And have I mentioned how much I BLOODY HATE THE IDIOT WHO FIRST CREATED THE WEBSITE AND ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE "KEPT UP" WITH THE SITE SINCE THEN?!?!? BECAUSE THEY SERIOUSLY FUCKED THE SERVER AND THE WHOLE SITE UP. IT IS SUCH A MESS! AND IT IS SO MESSED UP THAT CREATING A NEW SITE WOULD TAKE LESS TIME THAN SORTING EVERYTHING OUT! Well thank you Key Club. I love you, but you make me want to scream. And kill random UHS graduates.
So here is to another productive week. And to hoping that people read this. But it's ok, because I have sexy livejournal!

SACH
So I had my first day at the hospital today, and really, who ever said that real hospitals are NOTHING like Grey's Anatomy should shut up. It is like GA with all the gossip and playing around. Sure, it's not layed out like SGH, but it's the same idea.
There was so much flirting going on, I almost laughed. It's like high school all over again! Just without the popular crowd.
I sat and filed all 3 freaking hours. Except when I got to go into recovery (that was fun), got a little tour of the floor, and got to go to the Surgeon's Lounge to go to the Anesthesiologists' mailboxes. And seriously, those doctors need to CLEAN OUT THEIR DAMN MAILBOXES! JEEZ!
The on call rooms are nothing like the ones at SGH. No bunk bed. But there is one bed, and I really don't want to know how many times people have had sex on it. It's basically in a small room with no windows. I'd get freaked out sleeping in there. But w/e.
The surgeon's lounge, OMGWTFBBQ. They had a nice, huge, plasma/HD/DLP/whatever wall mounted tv! And it was one of those that you can easily spend $4,000 on. It was much nicer than the Nurses' Lounge. It pays to be a surgeon at SACH!
Being at the hospital today made me want to be a stinking doctor again. Shit. I mean, I had my heart set on Computer Programming, but I love being in the hospital. Those ORs, very freaky, but pretty neat. Being a Brain Surgeon sounds kind of cool! Damn both GA and SACH for putting the doctor thing back into my mind!
*pouts*
So much work to do, and less than 5 days to do it all in....shit.

Today is
a very depressing day. Well, not really. I wanted to be outside tanning, but no. I couldn't. And I have a buttload of Bio homework to do, and I really don't want to do it. 30 stinking review questions. WTF MATE. And my teacher thinks that I am a nice person. Which is odd. Because he scares me.
But since Harry's birthday is on Monday, my teacher is letting me bring in cupcakes for the class! WOOOOOOOO! How cool am I? Really cool. I know.
My birthday is on August 5th, which is drawing ever closer. AND I might take my permit classes the week of the 31st. I'm so lazy. I could be getting my lisence, but no. I have yet to take permit CLASSES. *sigh*
Such is life.
